Partners in Prayer is designed with a simple goal in mind: to unite people in prayer for those in need; to stand in the gap and intercede on their behalf when they are unable to do it for themselves; to keep them lifted up in prayer.
What we do as a committee...
Join and become active members ourselves in PIP (ALL MEMBERS)
New Members (4-5 people) Committee members will be sent new applications by the team leader. They will check pages for content violations, make sure PIP's logo is posted on the site and send them welcome letters. This sometimes involves helping teach the homesteader how to upload graphics.
Webring. (1 person)
Post prayer request in the forum that are sent via email form. (1 person)
Page of Devotionals. (2 people) Check applications and makes sure they are actual devotionals and can be added.
International Church Directory. (2 people) Check applications, making sure pages are within guidelines, members of PIP before adding their page in the directory.
Look for Prayer Chain and/or Special Request pages when surfing to add to the PIP Prayer List (ALL MEMBERS)
Check the message board and reply to the prayer requests listed there. (ALL MEMBERS)
Any committee member that makes graphics may submit any religious graphics to offer our members.
Vote each month for the PIP Site of the Month Award. (ALL MEMBERS)
Check the guestbook and answer any questions that may be left in there.
Check Prayer request pages weekly for changes, updates, and or removal. (1 person)
If you are interested in becoming a 'Partners in Prayer' Committee Member, please complete this application. Your application will be reviewed and carefully considered. You will recieve a reply within one week as to whether you have been accepted or not.
